Horse Farm Equipment – Barn Floor Sweepers And Blowers
When the gas or electric blowers start up, I take cover. There is no better way to kick up dust than to blow it all over the place. Sweepers at least don’t make the dirt airbourn. However, in barns with crevasses in the floor (wood planks, rubber brick, etc) then sweepers and blowers are required to get the dirt within. I also realize that these are time savers when labor is a concern.
In my barn, floor sweepers and blowers have always been humans with brooms…
