Most floors of barns are either dirt or a simple concrete slab.  Some barns have more elegant floors or built in features to help you and your horse.  This gallery has them all.

Most floors of barns are either dirt or a simple concrete slab.  Some barns have more elegant floors or built in features to help you and your horse.  This gallery has them all. 

From personal experience, wood floors offer a pleasant and unique hoof fall sound especially when there is another space below it.  It sounds like something from the past.  However the wood planks become polished over time and become very slippery especially when wet.

Standing and working for a long period on the new hard foam floors is very comfortable.  It must also be comfortable for the horses.  Workers say that cleaning these stall floors is very easy.
